[HUNG YEN] PURCHASING STAFF

Job Description

1. Main duties
Purchase goods from domestically and overseas such as raw materials, consumable materials, machinery, equipment, tools, and services for business and manufacturing operations. In detail below:
  • Seek, qualify, and suggest new potential vendors/suppliers, propose new qualified sources of supplies
  • Negotiate to improve price, terms, and conditions, required quality level, and on-time delivery.
  • Create and issue PO and track delivery status
  • Good received
  • Finish payment procedure for suppliers (Make the payment request and send to Accounting Dept)
  • Interface with internal and external suppliers to answer questions or solve problems (issue related to PO: Good received / Payment....)
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
2. Report
  • Make periodic internal reports: goods in order situation, purchasing data, costing reports,...
  • Other issued reports as requested.
3. Others
Other duties assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Good in English or Japanese
  • Graduated from University with a major in business
  • At least 1-year experience in purchasing
  • Priority is given to people living in the inner city of Hanoi or Hung Yen and surrounding area
