Job Description

Production process development: Ensure the production process complies with the targets and requirements
Approve the design for production processes developed internally or externally and initiate and supervise final tests before official deployment
Leading and guidance of line managers and responsibility for production staff
Evaluation of new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities
Ensuring appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets and budget
Overviewing the production schedule by ensuring accuracy of manufacturing processes and technical documentation
Supervising the internal/external process and equipment ramp-up, defining action plans and initiate training relevant to maintenance and production resources

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
10+ years’ experience in manufacturing related with mold (metal mold or plastic mold)
Proven experience in leading and instructing local manufacturing teams
Good at English or Japanese
Analytical and problem solving skills, including experience in leading root cause and corrective action investigations
Excellent oral and written communication skills including effective presentation of technical data
