Internal Audit Manager (Finance/ Banking)

Job Description

Build and organize the implementation of the strategy to develop internal audit activities.
Develop, amend and supplement the annual internal audit plan and organize the implementation according to the annual plan approved by the BOC and unexpected audits assigned by the Members' Council, BOC or General Director.
Develop, amend, supplement and regularly improve methods, policies, internal control system, internal audit process in accordance with the provisions of law and audit principles and submit to the BOC.
Propose to require employees from other Divisions and Branches to participate in internal audits when necessary, provided that the independence of internal audit is ensured.
Report to the BOC, the Members' Council, the General Director when detecting weaknesses, problems, and violations of the control system; violations of employees of the Bank.
Monitor the implementation of post-audit recommendations. Prepare and submit reports as required.
Operate, manage and assign tasks to members of the Internal Audit Department to ensure effective implementation and completion of the Internal Audit Agency's plan.
Conduct internal training, improve personnel quality and work efficiency of the Internal Audit Department.
Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.

Requirements

Having a university or higher degree in one of the following disciplines: accounting, auditing, finance, banking, or economics.
Prefer to have a professional auditor certificate (such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CIA...).
At least 7 years of experience in banking and financial audit.
At least 5 years of management experience in a similar position.
Able to work in English.
Being creative and eager to learn; good communication skills, high sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team.
Having a deep understanding of the principles of risk management, internal control and corporate governance in accordance with international practices.
Having in-depth understanding of banking operations and legal regulations in banking activities in Vietnam.
Understand the provisions of the law in general and have a deep understanding of the law related to banking activities in particular.
