CONDITIONS FOR WORKING VISA IN VIETNAM
According to Vietnamese law, if you want to apply for a working visa, you need to meet the following conditions:
- Passport, valid international travel documents
- Invited or guaranteed by companies, organizations and individuals working in Vietnam
- Not the cases that are not allowed to enter Vietnam as clearly stated in Article 21 of the Law on Immigration of Vietnam, No. 47/2014/QH13.
- For companies and organizations that guarantee or invite foreign employees entering Vietnam to work with:
- Must ensure that the enterprise is established in accordance with Vietnamese law.
- Need to conform to their functions, duties and powers as prescribed by law.
- Visa application paper based on the form NA5, along with temporary residence extension certificate.
- Operation license, business license of organizations or companies that guarantee visa applications for foreigners.
- Use of stamp certificate/Use of corporate stamp notice
- The document introducing the stamp based on the form NA16, enclosed with the signature of the authorized person. Submit this document in case of first time applying at the Immigration Department
- Visa applicant's original passport is still valid
- Work permit/work permit exemption in case foreigners are exempt from work permit.
- Temporary residence book/temporary residence certificate
For abroad employees:
Step 1: Prepare documents to apply for a visa to enter Vietnam.
Step 2: The company or organizations authorized by the foreign workers submits the application and receives an appointment to return for result at the Immigration Department
Step 3: After 5-7 days, if approved, the Immigration Department will send the results to the business or organization. The date of entry and the place to receive the visa are stated in the official letter
Step 4: Enterprises need to notify foreigners by sending email or express mail about the entry documents so that foreigners can get visa procedures.
Step 5: The employee receives the visa and pays the fee at the international airport in Vietnam or the Embassy/Consulate
For personnel currently in Vietnam
Step 1: Prepare all documents to apply for a visa as instructed above.
Step 2: Bring the documents and submit them to the Immigration Department, pay the fee, and then you will receive an appointment letter to return the results.
Step 3: Receive working visa results.
